Water is the one of natural resources which is available in abundance on Earth , almost covering 3/4th of the planet , however ,the total amount of water that can be used by humans and animals for drinking and other purposes is only 3%.Thus , we can say that with the increasing levels of population , the availability of water to quench the thirst of people will become scarce. Therefore , the international or the global community of nations started to celebrate March 22 as the World Water Day , indicating the need of preventing , protecting and recharging the fresh water bodies.
